Technical question on posting FS thread

I'm sure this has been asked multiple times before, but I can't seem to find where. Whenever I've posted a FS thread, I can never get the thread title to appear in boldface, unlike almost every other FS listing. I've used the [B] symbols at the beginning and end of the title (that's what happens when I highlight the line and click on the B icon), but they just show up as non-bold, but with those symbols on both sides. I know the answer is embarrassingly simple, but I give up. Help.

Bold listings are simply listings you haven't clicked on. Once a thread is read, it is not bolded.

Your thread is not bold because you read it immediately upon posting.

    [tags] don't work in titles.

What Bryan said. But keep in mind that this also means your thread title will be bold for everyone else too, until they've read it for the first time.
