Hard to believe that Ron Mowrey who posted as "Photo Engineer" on APUG / PhotoTrio has died. He was an incredible source of knowledge in all things film and chemistry. An excellent teacher with infinite patience, and a genuinely nice guy. He will be sorely missed. RIP Ron.

Oh no. I had many conversations with him over the years. He had a very interesting career and a lot of knowlege, and active right to the end, it seems.

A wonderful contributor to the photographic world, always generous with his knowledge. He will be sorely missed not only by those who knew him, but also by those of us who knew of him.

He was so generous with his knowledge and time, often explaining things several times, in various ways. I can't really fathom that he is gone. Rest in peace, Ron. Hats off to all of your good work.

I'd encurage to everyone to post a message in his tribute wall: https://bartolomeo.com/tribute/detai...#content-start

It would be nice his family knows how grateful we are to him.
