Well, these look interesting... curious if anyone will jump and spend the coin. They seem nice but are pretty expensive.

I use wooden 8x10 Chamonix holders a lot because of their light weight. The Gibellini ones look great but would be very interested in how much they each weigh. Chamonix new light weight 810 film holders weigh only 435 grams each. My Chamonix holders are several years old and weigh 545 grams each.
They also are selling wet or dry 8X10 plate holders
Those will sell!

My fidelities are fine, no leaks but I’ve had to be super super careful about there being zero pressure on darkslides etc. one of my sheets in Paris was ruined with a small leak with pressure somewhere along my daily trips in the streets.

Agree... especially with Jody Ake dropping his 810 holder from production.
I highly recommend doing Jim Galli's business card (or similar) test if one orders theses brand new, and very expensive, holders. They should perfectly match the ground glass depth, or you should return them. I expect that they will, but for that much money I'd want to be sure.

One of my first cars, back when I was about 17, was a '57 Dodge Desoto for which I pad either $100 or $125. Put about 100K miles on it. Never changed the oil - just kept it full with 15 cent a quart bulk oil which was sold at the gas stations back then (3 gallons of gas for a dollar!). Ditched it when the auto transmission gave out but the motor was still strong.
