I will be starting a multi year project of photographing historical buildings. Camera of choice will be for the main part an 8x10 Sinar Norma with an 120mm Nikkor, 5.9" Gray Periscope, and a 200mm f/6.5 TAYLOR-HOBSON Cooke Series VIIB WIDE ANGLE ANASTIGMAT. Both the Gray Periscope and the Cooke allow me to make extreme rise movements. To facilitate the shootings I am looking for a large geared head. Current oun and use a Manfrotto 410 but to me it is too small for an 8x10. Benro, Manfrotto, Arca Swiss Cube, Cambo Full Precision Controlled Geared head, Linhof 3D Micro Geared, Photo Clam Multiflex, and probably a lot more. Am looking for one to use with my 8x10 Siinar Norma but will also surely be using it with my 11x14 Cahamonix. So... suggestions and recommendations from actual users?
thanks in advance.
