Exhibition - Relicts: Exploring the Flora of Gondwana

‘Relicts’ is an exhibition focusing on the endemic flora of Tasmania and explores the ecological relationships Tasmania shares with the Australian mainland, New Zealand and South America.

The images span an 18 year period and are a snapshot of a much larger project which I began working on back in 1999. Most of the prints are colour 24x30" but there are also some silver gelatin prints too.

Congratulations...an excellent reason to venture south to Tasmania. I'll certainly make every effort to get to see this exhibition.

Thanks for your kinds thoughts everyone.

Running concurrently with my exhibition is a 5 year retrospective of the “Tarkine in Motion” project, a collaboration of artists focusing on the Tarkine, an incredibly diverse but sadly, largely unprotected area in the North-West Tasmania.

The Wilderness Gallery also has the largest permanent display of Peter Dombrovskis’ remarkable large format photographs.

Plenty of good reasons to make the trip south.

Tarkine in Motion is interesting, read a bit, interesting some terms are upside down compared to the Northern Hemisphere

Can't really discuss as it's not allowed here

    Good Luck Earth!

Earth will survive regardless, but will bipeds...

Sounds like a win win. The exhibition of many of Peter Dombrovskis' photographs at the National Library of Australia in Canberra a few years ago was both amazing and inspiring. An absolute treat for large format enthusiasts.
