    Medium-Format Digital Images

Oooh, panos. I don’t make many, but there was a time I lusted after a Cambo Wide, just for that sort of thing.

Here’s a pano stitched in Photoshop:

Kachemak Bay, Cook Inlet, Homer, Alaska, 2018. Pentax 655z, DFA 55mm lens, stitched from five images.

No, though I spent a week at an entirely off-grid former boat works up one of the coves across this bay. It is owned by a retired gastroenterologist—not exactly a homesteader. But we did meet several true homesteaders. It takes some toughness to live off-grid in Alaska, and few do it year-round.

Nice one darr. That evokes a lot of nostalgia for me, living and working in the Azalea City for 10+ years.

    Thank you Bryan, much appreciated!
Yes, lots of azaleas in this area and in Georgia when I lived there. Always a sign of Spring in the South.

    Kind regards,
    Darr
