Many thanks both: it's a super cool process when it works!!
I'm now actually in the middle of an FP4+ film test specifically for argyrotype, to fine-tune my film developing time (or times) for this process. I think I'm pretty close but I want to understand a little more carefully what's going on. I've had a tendency to overdevelop some of my sheets because of inadequate testing; scanning has made me a bit sloppy since it seems I can pretty much throw any B&W sheet at the Epson and it will come out great. Not quite so with this process!

    Tiny camera.
A DIY camera, made in the late 1920th. Camera lens is a 20mm Heliar f/3.5
Please note the match below the camera, it helps to imagine the size of the camera.
Taken with a Astro Berlin Quarz Objektiv 2.1/120mm on hand coated Jason Lane Dry Plate 9x12cm.
    Paper developer
    Illuminated with UV light only.
