    Schneider Apo-Componon HM 150

If I understand that correctly, then the HM 150 would be better suited as a landscape lens? That would suit me just fine.

Best suited as an enlarging lens, but might make an interesting taking lens.

If I recall, when the center of the frame is in focus at infinity, the corners will be focused beyond infinity (corners of the film too close to the lens).

OP, aren't you thinking of something in the Symmar line? 150/5.6 Super Symmar XL, perhaps?

Do or do not. There is no try.

If memory serves the cells of the 150mm are a direct fit to a Copal 1 shutter, although I can't find anything about this in Schneider's data sheet. I sold my copy a while ago so can't check.

It easily screws into a Copal 1 shutter. It works very well on film and digital on my 23 Technikardan, and also performs nicely on a Cambo Actus.Click image for larger version.
