Opinion About FotodioX Pro Right Angle View Finder Hood for 4x5 Linhof Cameras

Just curious on this topic. It seem Linhof only makes one 45º finder. Does this fit the Technika cameras (specifically the V). I assume it attaches like the folding hood.

Yes, it mounts like the hood. But you do need the fresnel.

The Sinar was a Linhof accessory but it’s weight, combined with the pressure caused when looking into it, pulled the gg away from the film plane so the adapter was discontinued in the 80s.

Many years ago adapted a metal Arca-Swiss 90 degree reflex viewfinder to the back of a Sinar Norma. The metal reflex finder seemed to be on the heavy side, so attached it to the top of the standard via a hinge and not to the spring GG film back. Made it light tight using foam insulating tape. Quite possibly not as easy to do with a Linhof though.
