Light trap foam thickness, Sinar Norma?

Does anyone know how thick the foam needs to be in the frames on a Norma? Or should I just go with say 3 mm, and hope for the best (not very Norma-like, but there you go ...)?

And where do I get something like this in Europe?

I used 2mm foam from the US version of Micro-tools for my 5x7 Norma.

I have many kinds of foam around. Which standards and which Norma needs refoaming? Prolly 2mm or 3mm. Not expensive, I buy from ebay dealer from UK.

When my 4x5 Norma was new in the early 70s, it developed a light leak in the corner of the format due to the seal coming detached from the back. I was able to order a length of replacement seal material from Sinar and take it to a repair guy to re-install. It's still holding up well. I still have that material handy and have measured it with calipers.
It's not what would describe as a foam, more like a fabric weave on one side and a shiny surface on the other (shiny side against the camera back). It measures 5mm wide and .75mm thick. Agree with Bob that Leica may be able to help you get the right stuff.

I haven't had any light leaks, but the the weave/foam is pretty old. I was thinking I would redo both front and back standard on my 5x7, but the back is more urgent I think.

Thanks for the suggestions and good to know the measurements, Jerry. My first thought was Glennview, but the shipping and customs wrangling (yes, they are going for everything above 22 euros, as explained to me last time I had pay fees for the darkcloth) kills that. Next thought was Microtools, but I was unsure if the foam ("light baffle") was dense enough.

I'll look into the Leica angle, and I'll see what can do.
