Thread size in Manfrotto quick release plate?

I use an older Manfrotto quick release plate. It has a screw in every corner. An M5 (metric) does not fit, so I think it is imperial. Does anyone know the correct thread size?

Have you tried a quarter-inch tripod screw?

    It's metric, M6-1.00

But all seven holes easily tapped to SAE.

I have the QR in hand and just used a Honda bolt to test fit.

Mine has the EU standard 3/8-16 camera mount screw

Stupid me, your are right, it is M6 Thank you very much!

(By using screws with some washers, ist ist super easy to fix the intrepid 8x10 MKII to the plate without any chance of rotation)

    You are welcome

    There are no stupid questions

BTW, that QR plate is very desirable and now a bit rare
