That's just crazy. Some people have a lot more faith in UPS, FedX and USPS than I do. Nothing against the three but things happen.

I once had an Omega D2 shipped Greyhound. It was the cheapest option at the time. Worth checking out.

Longshot, but you could look at the "rideshare" section in the Minneapolis Craigslist. Maybe someone is driving down close to you.
