Meniscus lens for UV light transmission

I tried to use the dry plates from Jason lane but I realised that this ISO 2 plates are only sensitive to blue and UV light and the most lenses cut this below 400nm.
Good results are possible with uncoated lenses and a better choice is to use only dialyt systems with no cemented elements.
Than I remember that I have a 200mm Zeiss Jena quarz glass lens in stock and thought about to make it usable for photography.
BTW: quarz glass let pass UV lights down to ~370nm but it is incredible expensive.

First I turned an retaining ring for a size I shutter but with an OD thread for to mount the quarz lens.
For the front of the shutter I turned a lens shade for reduce tht reflexions and for to take Ø40.5mm filters.
At last I made a lens board for my Wista 45D

Re: Menicus lens for UV light transmission

Here are two pictures I made with this lens.
I didīnt await that a simple lens like this can have a quality like this.
The first were made with a dry plate from Jason, I used f/22 and exposure it 5 minutes. Size 9x12cm
The second were made with f/32 and used a Fomapan 100, 4x5", with a green/yellow filter
Both developed in Adox FX-39 II
