Zero Centering Yardstick - where to buy

Hi all, I am looking to make my own dry mount jig similar to the Zone VI dry mount jig.

I have been looking for a zero centering yardstick but have had no luck.

    Places I have checked:
    Amazon
    Art Supply warehouse
    Michael's
    Hobby Lobby
    Dick Blick (online)

I hope someone has a suggestion where I may buy what I am looking for.

    Thanks in advance

    Gary

Try searching for a zero centering ruler instead of yardstick. With a quick search I came up with this website with options up to 48". http://www.geionline.com/rulers/cent...entered/1033a/

Metric readings are easier to work with. McMaster. It's a good idea to spend extra for etched markings rather than just painted on lines. Center-finding tape rules are available too; but I find them less convenient when working with prints or mats.

Woodpecker.com sells one that I like very much.

Their prices are good and service has always been as well. 36 inch is around $14.

Home Depot. Aluminum with centering and longitudinal scales. Etched and filled markings. 36 inch was less than 5 bucks. 48 inch (none in stock) was marked at about 7 bucks.
