    This is why I'm afraid of getting into scanning. It's a complete another kind of photography to master. And then once it's digital, what do we do with it? Probably a little Lightroom, at the very least.

    Don't quote me on that, though. I'm pretty sure I'll have an 850 by year end.

    If you want to post them on the internet, or show them on your computer screen or on a UHDTV, you have to digitize them. Hence a scanner, a necessary "evil".
