    A new $50 adjustable iris?

    Just throwing this out there. No experience or personal connection to it...it showed up on facebook.

    It looks sturdier than the noodle measuring tool that many home kitchens have, but hardly something I'd trust a good lens on. Also, can you see how difficult it might be to mount on a lens board?

    I was thinking more along the lines of DIY projects, for example, along with a magnifying lens on a Speed Graphic.

    Not much in the specs dept , the leafs of the iris would need to be pretty thick to support a lens and it would need a
    locking mech which this doesn't have.
    If ya got $50 bucks to burn....

    I was thinking as an aperature for DIY lenses and such.

    I saw this on a Facebook ad and had the same thought Vaughn.

    I have a project I might could use this with at some point for an iris. It's on the back-burner.
