    Where's "schneideroptics.com/info/vintage_lens_data" website gone ?

I used to use this website "www.schneideroptics.com/info/vintage_lens_data/large_format_lenses" as a good resource when looking to buy a lens .
Apart from details of the lenses construction and filter thread size it also detailed lens coverage and available movement on different formats .

Now when you click on the link
    ( eg . https://www.schneideroptics.com/info...4,5-105mm.html )
It automatically redirects you to https://schneiderkreuznach.com/en .

Does anyone know if Schneider has scrubbed all information on older lenses , or has it just been moved and I cant find it ?

Luckily I have found it still on the Way back machine ; http://web.archive.org/web/201604131...format_lenses/

It was there a few days ago. I used their contact form and requested they restore it. Perhaps if several of us did that they might re-publish or reorganize and improve the content. Same thing happened in 2006 but most of the brochures were lost then.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Unfortunately Schneider has been removing pages from schneiderkreuznach.com for quite some time. Years, in fact. schneideroptics.com seems to be gone completely, redirects to schneiderkreuznach.com.

If you have an old Schneider link that gets a 404 error or redirects to schneiderkreuznach.com, try using archive.com to find an archived version of the page. Most have been saved there, some many times. The best thing to do once in archive.com is to try a relatively old save. If it shows a 404 error -- I've seen them -- try an older one.

If you want to look around in Schneider documentation, use archive.com to find a backed up version of either site. Again, the older the back up the better.

I've added this text to the list even though there's little hope that anyone will find it or, if they find it, take the advice.

If you wonder why I'm so down on the prospect that this information will be useful, a link to a good archived version of schneiderkreuznach.com's lens brochures has been in the list for years. Posters here still fail to take notice.

I will have a look in the next few days to see if I can send them a message requesting it being put back up .
You would think a firm with such a rich history in optics would keep all this information available to celebrate their heritage .
