A blood pressure monitor bulb works fine. Search the ebay and there will be lots of them for very litttle money

Sorry for the delay in response, i was looking for my shutter but have apparently put it “some place safe”. The bulb i purchased was a generic squeezer from a medical pharmacy. Designed for clearing throats or earways or noses. It has two big flat tabs on the nozzle preventing penetration beyond 1/2” or so.

Once i find the shutter I’ll demonstrate it with just my breath. I still think that would work fine.
