I have just acquired a Wista 45sp , with a Schneider 150mm lens , and I am VERY new to LF photography. Have figured out a lot of it I think but I have a couple of real basic questions ( go easy on me! ).
1.When I open the camera , and it has lens attached, how far out do I initially extend the bellows ( and lens ) ? Does it really matter providing I can get near and far images into focus?
2. I have read about accounting for bellows extension in the context of determining exposure - this entails measuring from film plane to lens plane. How does one do this in practice ? Is there another way of determining bellows extension?
Thanks all.
