    Euro trip

Taking a trip to europe this august/september and wanted to get some film recommendations on the trip. I'm probably going to get Ilford Delta 100 over Tmax 100 just due to economics. I'm torn on what color film to buy as the bulk of my shots.

Should I get Provia 100 to get some rich colors or Portra 400/Ektar 100 which is a bit more expensive but easier to handle? Or even break down and do both?

Most of the trip is going to be on the fjords in Norway and Sareks National Park in Sweden for a very particular shot of a river delta. If i have time I MIGHT do the italian alps around alpstein and Mont Blanc. But the first ten days I'll be in Prague and Marseille around the Calanque National Park.

Any tips and pointers are greatly appreciated.

The North will be losing light already in September.

    I suggest faster film.

Have Fun and take double the money.

    The Baltics are not inexpensive.

The fjords might have details in shaddows and snowcovered tops in the sun, but I would go for provia. Large format film is avaible in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim

It sounds like I should invest in some portra 400 just to have something to fall back on in situations that a GND filter just can't solve.

I always come prepared by going for versatility. Delta 100 and Portra 400 gives you more options.
