Which Timer / Power Supply for Omega D-2

Curious as to what some of you D-2+ printers are using on your machines. Just setting up a new one and looking for advice.

    Thank you!

Depends on your lamp. LED can be tricky with low amp switching.

    Incandescent is fine with most.

I like my GraLab 505. Simple.

But I have bought more than 1 used timer, even from our members that don't work at all or poorly.

No naming, no blaming, they may have had no idea. Seldom used electronics corrode normally especially in Darkrooms.

Even my 'good' GraLabs seem happiest if used constantly. I also have a more complicated GraLab 625 which needs use, then works fine.

    I have tried fixing others.

    It's a crapshoot.

For my D5XL, I use the Omega Super Chromega Dichroic II power supply for the head. For timing, I've found that the best (for me) is the Beseler 8177 Audible/Repeating timer. It's strictly knobs, so it's very simple and straight-forward. And has a footswitch, which makes it quite handy when doing dodge/burn.
