I would have double posted that image myself.

    2 portraits in one!

    Really like!

I also think that 360mm was a great lens for this moment.

I am going to use longer on 5X7.

This apo ronar 360mm (14") is a cheap and incredible lens, large image circle high resolution especially for close subjects... I love it !

I shot a wedding a couple of weeks ago. I loved the location so I decided to bring my large format camera and shoot a few shots in the evening after the bulk of the high pressure work had been done. I am pretty happy with the results although I must admit I'm not sure my nerves could cope with shooting a whole wedding this way.

Thanks Peter, I love this word "terrific" it really sums up the emotion I had when I opened the tank after processing this 5x7 sheet.

Good work, Toby!. When I moved to my house, the crossing guard on the corner of the street was a retired photographer. He photographed all of his weddings with a Crown Graphic. He used flashbulbs for the inside church photos, including a monster-sized one when he photographed from the balcony at the back of the church.

They were both so cute in this warm french summer that I asked them if I could use one of my view camera to take a photo of this moment. I was to lazy to carry around my Sinar P2 8x10 so I decided to grab my Sinar P 5x7. Turned pretty good to me, so here we go :

Laurent L, I expect you may derive much more confidence with this shot. You have exposed and printed with just the right amount of contrast. The three quarter turn of each head compliments each other and the negative space between the two compliments the arches in the background. The distance between the background and the foreground with it resultant difference in sharpness provides for a real 3 D effect. the upside down triangle of the faces and the open book provide a fine sense of composition. The pencil case offers a bit of interest that balances the more in focus shrubbery on the right and the teachers shirt on the left. the right and left handed pen/pencils are consonant with each other and the telling finger construction of the younger woman' right hand speaks of distracted concentration.
you have exposed perfectly and composed perfectly; well done

That's very nice. It has a real natural feel of the moment as apposed to the often stiff, "hold still everyone", look and feel from LF.
