Michael Gordon's LF Workshop at Death Valley

    Fellow Members,

I am pleased to announce that Michael Gordon is going to run a small workshop at Death Valley. He is a talented photographer and a very good teacher. He knows Death Valley.

I took this course from Michael in March of 2014 and found it to be excellent. For anyone just getting started into LF it isa great way to learn. Michael's knowledge of the park makes the experience all the better.
    Best regards,

I would consider it if it were longer. Three days isn't very long to photograph Death Valley.

agree 3 days isn't long enough, but it is sufficient to get familiar with a few locations and make you want to return inthe future. The workshop could be 30 or 60 days, and it would still be insufficient to "see it all". Until last winter a friend and I had photographed the park and its surroundings for 14 to 30 days each year. We haven't begun to cover this beautiful area. Age and illness stopped us in 2019.

It would be a good way for a LF/Death Valley noob to start a week or so in Death Valley. After 3 days, one should be good to go!
