    Martha's Vineyard photos

Took a trip to Martha's Vineyard a few weeks ago, here are a few images from that trip, taken on my 4x5 with horseman 6x12 roll back and velvia 50. Velvia wasn't the best film for this, as most of my shots were of the sunset/sunrise, but it was the only color film I brought, and it wouldn't have looked as good in black and white.

Edgartown Light is pretty cute, no doubt about it. A bit hard to read these images at that small a size, though. I like a bit of detail in the shadows, hard to tell if it's there, and that's part of the challenge of slide film. If you post the photos to a sharing side (e.g., Flickr), you can easily embed a link to a larger photo here that will allow slightly closer inspection. You're headed in a nice direction, though.

Thanks! the files are huge, which is why I didn't upload the full res here, but when I tried to link from flickr it kept giving error messages, any idea why that would be?
