Great start to the month, Gentlemen!

    Re: Portraits June 2019

Last year, in February, I went to Lula Lake Falls in northwest GA. I shot 4x5 with my Chamonix and as usual I had several folks ask me about the camera. This past weekend I went back, and when I was hiking down to the falls a young man and his girl was walking up. He asked, were you here last year? I said yes, and it turns out he had been there on the same day and talked to me about the "old camera!" As it turned out, he had just proposed to his girlfriend that morning and they were leaving, so he went on. A few seconds later though he came bounding back down the stairs and asked, "can we get a picture?!" I obliged - what a neat coincidence!

This is really a nice story. The couple will be very happy about the photo.

    cuypers1807,
What's the story on the item the woman is holding? Is that a conceptual model of a possible camera? I've seen pictures of such mockups made when Hasselblad was developing the 500C.

That would be my first large format experience, so do not judge me too harshly
