I loaded up two of the new Lane ISO 25 speed plates and gave them a try. Camera was my trusty Chamonix 045n, lens was a 6 in. B&L rapid rectilinear in Uncum shutter. I processed these in my SP-445 with the plate holders. I was a little anxious about it and went easy on the agitation. The plates came out great! I'll shoot a few with my other lenses c.1905-1920.

I like them, but prefer the earlier slower plates for some of my lense which are w/o shutters or aperture control.

I've just shoot a couple of quarter plate and a couple of 3A 25 ASA dry plates (J.Lane, of course) and look great. Both 2 ASA and 25 ASA are wonderful, and more interesting depending on the kind of camera, shutter (or lack of) and subject. With my Goerz Ango I can even shoot dry plates at 1/50 or maybe even 1/100!! Action shots, like Ottomar Anschütz did!
