Recently, I used my P&S digital in video mode to dictate the exposure settings and other details about the shout on my film camera while video scanning the area quickly as a reminder of where I was. Then when I got back home, I transcribed all the data to a settings sheet. It saves time when shooting and fiddling around with paper and pen.

Ha! Thank you. Here is my circus wagon. I built the cabinet to hold lenses and film holders and all the hardware. The cabinet straddles the tail of the camera.

NICE. I have something similar but it is a garden wagon with plastic sides. I like the sides on that so you have the tripod all stashed in like that. Mine is just sitting on top of cases in the wagon. I think it's called Gorilla wagon from the garden area of Home Depot.Ha! Thank you. Here is my circus wagon. Is anyone interested in shooting firefly flashes with LF? I've had modest success at it limited by the declining firefly numbers, but have the setup and exposures fairly well doped out for my 4x5 with 400 color neg film. Happy to share.

Please share your details. I shot fireflies for the first time last year, and planning to do so again this year.
This is the setup for my Fire Escape shot in the Abstracts thread. After getting the camera set I waited about 30 minutes for the sun to move and change the shadow placement.

For various reasons, life got in the way, and before yesterday, I last shot LF in July of 2018. I returned to the Arizona Cactus Garden on Stanford University's campus (not in Arizona, of course), where I've gone many times, because it's nearby, and if I completely forgot what I was doing, I wouldn't have wasted a trip. Turns out, all four negatives were pretty good. I was a bit slow and didn't get the best water droplets on the agave before many had evaporated, but I'm pleased enough with the shot. Fujinar 25cm/4.7 at f/11-1/2 and 1/90th (the shutter is slow at 1/125) and I forgot to do the bellows extension math, so I probably should have used the 1/60 setting (which is pretty accurate). I'm debating if the top 2/3 are a bit too dark, maybe I'll make a mask and lighten them up a wee bit in Photoshop.

Here's mine. I rarely take set-up shots. But I went upstairs today and nothing had moved so I thought about this thread. You may have seen the image already. I posted it last night.
