    tripod found

A few weeks ago I found a tripod at a trailhead in Arizona. I was uncertain about what to do, so I took it and posted a couple signs on the message boards with my phone number, and called all the national forest offices, leaving my name and number. No luck. Based on the setup of the tripod, it was quite possibly used for large format. If it is yours, e-mail me at greggh2oman@hotmail.com and describe it or give me the brand name. If it is yours I'll happily ship it to you at my cost - I'd just like to return this thing to its owner! If anyone else has any ideas of how to possibly locate its owner, let me know.

Ben Horne has a high rate of success returning found stuff at the Zion Park, etc. He uses his Instagram account. I am not sure how to contact him, but here is one of his videos.

How is Ben at finding stuff there? A friend lost a Sigma Art 35mm somewhere on the east side a couple weeks ago. We decided it was a gift to the photo gods, but who knows?!

I mentioned it to the Park person I worked with during my Artist-in-residence there last year, so she is checking the park's lost-and-found.

I think your right, but maybe a few months ago. Ruttenberg sounds familiar.

I lost all my film holders and light meter when I was sick and making myself go photograph anyways. Forgot I left the case on the top of the truck bed rail and drove off. My brain was mush during that time.

Didn't lose a tripod though. I was also in Paige AZ.
