Meyer Weitwinkel Aristostigmat 79mm (80mm) coverage

Meyer's literature from the 1930s claims that the F9 version of the 79mm Weitwinkel Aristostigmat lens will cover 100 degrees stopped down to F22. The F6.3 is supposed to cover a full 105 degrees.

Does this assertion up, or is it like the early Angulons that will "cover" 5x7, but with serious falloff and softness?

My final question is whether the lack of coating on theses lenses matters stopped down to such small apertures.

I would like to use both copies I've tracked down on custom 6x17 cameras; I have the F9 and F6.3 in the compur 0 size.

Stopping down does not control flare, lens coatings and a compendium, or a really proper hood or a gobo control flare.
