Good idea. Maybe that enlarger will end up in the same forensic lab that identifies your DNA or fingerprints all over it, then gives you a new career stamping license plates out of old negative carriers in a Federal penitentiary the next two years for inciting a fraudulent bomb scare.

You make the prospect so attractive to a 73 year-old with terminal cancer!

Keep fighting, Jac! Go in style, as long as you are here! I realize that is a fairly pathetic statement from someone who only knows you forum-wise. But even to that extent, your spunk and wit is appreciated, and it's enjoyable to hear from you.

As many have said if it's a 4x5 or smaller it's impossible to give them away let alone try to sell them. 5x7 and larger you have a better chance of getting someone to buy it. Someone from a photo lab in the New Orleans area recently put up a post for free DeVere 4x5 enlargers trying to keep them out of the dumpster.

You can sell it if it is a good one and complete. I just bought another Leica Focomat 1c since it was in such good shape to replace the one I had that wasn't pristine. There is still a market out there.

    Good for you!

    I mean that.

As 2 years after they are all discarded they will be in demand.

I sold a crusty old D-2 awhile back to a guy who didn’t even know what it was for,but he loved the idea that it could be used as a lamp!
