    Thank you all for the recommendations and considerations. I ordered already a Synthetic Balsam and expect to post here a beautiful restored Verito 18" and a couple of days. Regarding solvent for UV cement, my friend told me he used methylene chloride in the past. But he said he was happy when the bottle got empty and decided never buy it again. It is extremely harmful.

    I have a free sample of synthetic Balsam, maybe a pound.
