    Film coverage

    Guys
    I just took a cityscape picture on my Chamonix 8x10 with my 210mm macro lens. My question is this. If you can see the image on the ground glass then you should be able to see that full imagae on the negative. Is that correct. The reason I ask is the lens was very close to the ground glass.

    Yes. But you should check for vignetting in the corners. This can be done by stopping down to your shooting aperture and ensuring that the aperture is round (rather than oval) when viewed from the corner cutouts.
