That's nice to know. When I had trouble with my Linoscan 1400 scanner a year or so ago the former Linoscan tech support group had disappeared and Heidelberg in Germany gave me the phone number of some independent outfit in the U.S. that they said they were using instead of having their own tech support. I called the number and received a message saying it was no longer in service. I sent several email messages to Heidelberg in Germany asking for an alternate and never received a response. I now use an Epson 4990.
