    The little red box

    Hi,

I just want to show you a little box camera I made with some MDF, an old 3.25 x4.25'' Graflex back and a lens I had from a broken folding camera.
I have repainted the back, and made a new ground glass.
Focusing is possible from 5 foot to infinity (lens with helicoid).

Looking good! How are you gluing the wood to the glass piece to make your ground-glass grinding tool?

    Pitch would be traditional.

Looking at and considering your little red box...makes me want to chuck all of my fancy-schmancy gear and build a little red box of my own - except I think it would be a little green box!

I scratched the glass with big grain sandpaper, and glued it to the piece of wood with cyanoacrylate glue.
But it was not a real success, not strong enough.

Double faced scotch tape may be a solution, I will try it next time.
