    Okie doke here are some photos.

    The first is a shot from the back of the camera showing how I’m unable to seat the tripod plate due to the knob hitting the camera bottom.



    Next kinda shows how I can’t seat it the other way either because part of the plate locking mechanism interferes.



    Below you can see how I can seat the camera with the plate turned 90 degrees but how the knob still gets in the way. It is possible to use this way but I worry about damaging the knob over time.

    The problem is you used a Benro gear head instead of the elegant Arca Swiss Cube

    Kidding aside, you can use something like this clamp+plate in between your Benro plate and camera bottom:

    Screw/glue the Benro plate to the bottom of the clamp to improve stability.

    Not bad! That might be the ticket. I wonder if I can screw the Benro plate into the camera and then this plate into the Benro plate. For the price it's worth a shot. Thank you
