    I use a Dahle rototrim for cutting my photo paper. Thought about a smaller one for cutting film. You can use an optical wipe or something to protect the film from the guide and surface of cutter.

    Attached is an image of a rotary cutter that I've had for decades.
    The width guide is a bit finicky - but it works. I use it for cutting 8x10 multigrade paper into four 4x5 sheets.
    The cutter cuts clean even with the 2 mm or so strips of waste.
