    Hi from Wyoming

Hi all. I am from western Wyoming (Sublette Co.). Very rural, very beautiful. I do a little bit of 4x5 photography and find myself moving more that way.

I have visited LFPF in the past and thought it was time to join. Thanks for the great resource.

    Best,
    Jason Rife

Hi. What a wonderful area to live! I'm hoping to do some LF backpacking in the Wind River mountains once again this coming summer. But the whole area is nice, except perhaps the gentrification or suburbanization further north in the hub of Jackson Hole itself. I stopped at the little new Fossil Beds museum last trip that way. That was sure interesting. Too bad Wyoming is so far from here in terms of gasoline expense; but we have a lot of mountains too; and even here solitude is easy to find if one simply avoids the most conspicuous tourist destinations.

Welcome! I've been through parts of Wyoming and loved it. The rocks are too cool.

This part of Wyoming is special to be sure. Funny thing is that I always wish SF was closer! Another truly special place.

If you decide to come down this summer, drop me a line.

I'm glad you liked it. It isn't to everyone's liking, but I think it is great out here.
