PRJ - something very "primordial" about those images...

    Re: Panoramic Format (6x12 ~ 6x17, etc) B&W only.

About 10 years ago I shot 4x10 using a 121mm Super Angulon with my, since sold, Fotoman.

My 4x10 film recently arrived from Shanghai after being delayed because of Covid. I have it in the freezer.
My interest in the challenges of panorama photography have never gone away.
I now have a Linhof 4x5 TL with a Chinese back for 4x10.
I now have another 121mm SA and a 165mm SA and two old Symmar 6.8 from a hundred years ago in 240 and 270.
I am planning on touring the world starting before I turn 80 years old in 2024.
With these 4 lenses that cover 4x10 and maybe some smaller format cameras I want to use B/W which I can develop on the road.

For color I plan on taking my Sony A99II with a few old Minolta lenses.

I have been buying too much stuff lately so will start to thin the heard by offering surplus photographic items on this site.
I plan to get a satellite phone so I can upload to the internet images and words etc. in places that do not have wi-fi.
The trip should take at least 2 years and I will be towing an Airstream BaseCamp 16X with a 1996 Land Rover Defender 300tdi.

Back in 1970 my wife and I camped for 5 months in Europe traveling from Lisbon to Helsinki and down to Istanbul covering about 15K miles in our Renault R16.
I would like to re-visit a few favorite places on my way to Australia from where I plan to ship back to the US west coast.

I will have a monthly income of about US$5k from my Social Security and 2 small pensions.

I hope the Republicans do not do away with Social Security and Medicare as some have threatened. And I hope the autocrats in places like Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and Myanmar are all overthrown by their people. There is so much history in these places that I want to photograph and of course meet the long suffering people. Russia would be great to visit too, but not before Putin is "no more".

Great shot and use of the vertical 6x12 format!
