I just got my scanning station few weeks ago. All was fine, Doug came back to me few weeks after i first emailed him. It all took a while but i received everything.

Its definitely no scam, a lot of people having betterscanning mounts in use for years.. why its taking so long and why there is no communication i don't know either, and it's not nice as a customer.. i was just sharing my experiences and that he got back to me after few weeks..
@steven he didn't say anything why it's sometimes taking so long to get back. i tried two different email addresses and on one i got a email back and could place my order
