    Recommended repair shop(s) in Europe?

Greetings! I'm looking for repair shop in Europe that hopefully someone with personal experience can recommend. I'm needing a CLA on a Copal shutter and a focus CLA on a Rolleiflex 2.8 GX. I've found myself living between Lipari, Italy and Astoria, Oregon so I know where to go in the States, but hoping to find something here in Europe to speed up the process.

    I appreciate it!

    Hello from France!

The Rolleiflex 2,8 GX is totally off-topic here, however all repair shops listed here on Ferdi Stutterheim's web site repairing Rolleiflex TLRs will certainly repair a copal shutter.

Thank you, but as my post reads, I'm looking for "personal experience" not a web site reference. I'm sorry you feel the Rollei mention is "totally" off topic. I do know that I have sold several to fellow members here who are actively shooting them, know others who have posted images from Rollei's HERE on the forum, besides what has been posted in the classified's, etc. etc.

For Rollei a lot of people in France swear by Gerard Metrot. But it is unclear to me if he still works. He was retiring but I still read about people sending cameras to him. The one time I send him something was not a good experience. But as always, YMMV.

I appreciate it Havoc. Could you elaborate on why it wasn't a positive experience though?

I'll PM you as from the responses I got on french forums, he has a solid reputation there. I don't want a single bad case ruin it either.

Another repair shop I tought about is "Fotoservice Olbrich" in Görlitz Germany. I have had very good service there for my Pentacon 6 stuff. But they say on their website that they only do East-German cameras. Never hurts to ask.
