I like the vigorous aeration in the large format washer. You folks have a lot of energy, nice to see such enthusiasts.

BTW Anton, you use the 770mm xxl Schneider? I have the 550mm.
Great Alec! You are very welcome to St.Petersburg to try to enlarge some negatives, if you wish!
We have the whole kit: 550, 1100 and very rare 770mm Fine Art lens.

Haha! That's exactly what we were thinking off - enSMALLER!!! )))

Maybe if I sell my apartment in California I can afford to join the elite club of people with these awesome cameras and very impressive enlargers.
The funny thing - that inside the enlarger we found 3 plugs. Mr. Heiland installed it just in a case for something. So in principal you can live inside, plenty of space to sleep, 3 plugs for a kettle, smartphone and reading lamp ))
Seriously, It's absolutely amazing that in 2018 the film is SO alive!

    Hello Anton,

I am in France and i know St Petersburg a little! You are very lucky to have the 3 lenses!

What about the sharpness of the 770mm on the edge? I found the 550mm is ultra sharp at the center but smooth on the edge for landscape...

It would make the 20x24 negatives much more economical to print! And really, isn't economy what 20x24 is all about?
