    Thank you, gentlemen. I feel like I've once again fooled you into thinking I know what I'm doing...

    The lighting is artificial, two CFL arrays, one with a softbox, one without.


    As I said earlier, letting the wet plate artifacts run loose for a change...

    Mark, obvious question perhaps I missed it earlier in the thread, but why are the images
    all mirror-reversed? Are they scans of tintypes or such?

    Not that it detracts from the lovely tonality and obvious affection for the subject.

    Which is the basis of all good photography.
    Where are we going?
    And why are we in this handbasket?

    Joe, tintypes come out reversed, just the nature of the process. Daguerreotypes and Beatles albums do the same thing.
