Where Do Y’all Stick Your Triggers?

I have an intrepid 4x5 on the way. I have gotten the lens and PC cable to run to my flash trigger. The camera does not have a cold shoe, so I am trying to figure out where to put the trigger. Where do y’all stash your triggers while shooting with them?

Toyo 45AII with PocketWizard Plus II. I also loop the unit through the camera handle and through the wrist strap of the trigger, this makes it fall-safe, ableit a little "dangly". The 45AII has a cold shoe on the rear standard that I would rather use, but the cable on my trigger is too short, and I haven't prioritized ordering a longer cable. It works.

Other ideas are hook/loop (velcro) tape, but I chose not to use that solution.

Looking at the Intrepid, you could mount a cold shoe on the top of the rear standard, or along the side of the base plate. If your trigger unit has a wrist strap, you can loop the unit through its own strap and through a feature on the camera, aka the "dangly" way.

My Arcas have a little hole in the top of the front standard that you would normally mount a compendium shade holder too. I had them make me a cold shoe that goes there. Before that, I had a stick-on (adhesive backed) plastic cold shoe that I'd adhered to the rear standard. I also have a few of these that I use for mounting various things to cine cameras.

I install 1/4-20 wood inserts to mount cold/hot shoes.

    Many varieties available. Even brass.

I just loop it around one of the knobs or under the bellows. Or the old studio trick, gaffer tape everything.

Ye Olde Gaff tape must have been shite as it seems I spend a lot time trying to remove the dried up traces. Maybe it was actually the even worse black paper tape.

I buy modern gaff tape and it seems a bit more user friendly.

The good stuff is expensive. Cause they stick well, and when peeling, it doesn't leave a residue. Great in studios when studios were paying for them. Now I use painter's tape.
