The name Isconar/Jsconar was used long before that. Joseph Schneider & Co -nar.

You're right, I was mistaken. This will teach me to look things up before posting.

I got a reply from Schneider: "Lexar" was a brand name owned by Nagel, and in the Schneider records it's only called "Nagel-Anastigmat" and is a lens very similar to their own Xenar. That cleared it up nicely.
