    If you haven't seen the lens itself or a photo of it, 'Lexar' may well be a typo or an auto-correct failure.

    I got a reply from Schneider: "Lexar" was a brand name owned by Nagel, and in the Schneider records it's only called "Nagel-Anastigmat" and is a lens very similar to their own Xenar. That cleared it up nicely.
