These images are from the collection of my father in law Al Paterson, he amassed an amazing collection of trains in and out of GTA , sadly the collection was lost to a museum under shady circumstances that my wife and here sisters and brothers are not willing to fight.
Reminds me of the movie Women in Gold. The museum part.

4x5 Nagaoka field camera, 150mm lens @F45 This is a scan of the darkroom print.
These are abandoned tracks in Wharton state forest. Finally found a section that didn't have trees growing in the tracks.

Very nice images of some old warhorses resting in some storage tracks.

Beautiful! I used to take my kids to that park to fish and play on the train cars. IIRC, that loco is on a trestle that is not accessible to the public. The kids used to love hiking below Morrow Point Dam.

Thank you! I just took my kids there too and I can imagine a place like this bringing back memories. Steam locomotives always bring back memories for me as I recall riding them in India when we travelled cross country.

I've always though trains were "cool" ever since I was a little kid. Do you know if this train is still run, for excursions?
