Need pics of Tachi “Fiel Stand” hand-strap and hardware

If you have a Tachi “Fiel Stand 4x5,” could you please post some pics of the hand strap, and hardware that attaches the strap to the camera?

Or if you would rather text them to me, send PM and I will share my cell.

    Thanks!

I am sure there were some changes during the 4x5 lifetime. There is still a website that shows the later models.

It is quite often for sale here and I had a listing of the brass finish type last year with plenty of photos. You can work back through the for sale listings from there. Note the serial number also gives the year of production!

    Steve,

Thanks. I am familiar with your as for that Brass Tachi and studied the pics. I
Hoping to get a closeup of the bracket where the strap is attached to the camera.

Where do I find the serial number? Mine is silver/chrome finish on hardware.

Also, I’ve been reading about Tachi’s online - which website are you referring to here:

It is stamped on the underside of one of the cross-members above the bottom piece with the aluminium plate with the two tripods threads. Can be difficult to see with mirrors or unscrewing. It is in the form of year/camera number (90 - 341) - 1990 / camera no. 341.

I'll try and find the japanese website with model styles and photos. I don't have more detailed photos than those I listed.

The Tachihara company website was taken down a few years ago when the company ceased operations. You can find it in the Wayback Machine...

...but the pictures they posted were small and fuzzy and probably aren't going to be much help - see, for example:

Still very cool to see the site captured in Wayback Machine. Thanks.
