Any suggested shop for ue customers? It's my first time buying ULF films
I order locally (well, in my state of Arizona) from Fred Newman at the VIEW CAMERA STORE:

Namaste,
Daniel
Check www.freestylephoto.biz, the prices are even lower than Badger Graphic
Awesome! Will add some ULF inventory. As they say make hay while the sun shines.
Yep, we all have to shoot enough unusually-sized film to keep the program going. And to keep Ilford profitable. I don't work with ULF- my special-order film is a size that can only be mentioned in the Lounge- but I'll be ordering soon.
Wow I just checked the price for 717 and it comes to $11 a sheet! Does this make sense, is this the current price for ulf film? It's more than twice the cost of 810 for only a third more film!?!

Despite the moany-groany about bean counters on this site----
The prices may not make sense for folks whose finances are tight,
but from a production standpoint the prices do make sense
These sizes are CUSTOM, the set up costs are substantial and must be amortized over small net quantities from large rolls.
We all hope Ilford survives, and to do that it must make a profit, else the bean counters tell the folks,
um, "go home we're out of money for little things like paychecks and electricity"
regards
Ed
I order from Midwest Photo and they quoted me just under $200/box of 25 for 7x17 HP-5 which comes out to $8 a sheet. 7x17 surface area is 50% more than 8x10 (120 sq in. vs. 80 sq in.) and the cost for the larger size reflects that. Thank the heavens for Ilford's dedication to ULF and oddball sizes!
