    Beat place to buy SP-445 4x5 Tank?

    Bought mine at Freestyle with the second-generation holders. There's a thread on this board with a link to a You Tube video from the company discussing the holders, which have now gone to a third version. The second-generation ones worked fine for me, but it might be worth asking if the new ones are available when you buy.

    Might be a reason to buy direct from the company.

    +1. Can't say for sure if Freestyle is a "beat" place, as I've never been in the store.

    I was at the Hollywood store last month. It's kind of a "this is what I remember photo supply places were like" experience. It is definitely not a "beat" place. The beatniks and their beat poetry left Hollywood Blvd about 60 years ago...
