    D-23 storage

Am I right in thinking that mixed D23 doesn't last?

I have always mixed it and sued it fresh, but a couple of days ago I mixed up a couple of litres and then something else came up and I couldn't use it.

I vaguely remeber somethign once about it not lasting once mixed?

    Anyone know

(and I'm down to about my last litres worth of powder and my chemical supplier's on vacation...)

    Hi there,

Richard's right on the money with the times. The published formula:

    Water(125%F) 750ml

    Metol(Elon) 7.5g

    Sodium Sulfite 100g

    Water to 1 liter

    OR

    1 liter water

    2 level tsp Metol

    2 level 35mm canisters sulfite

About as simple as it gets.
