    Image restoration from a negative in poor condition.
    A good way to learn to read the wind is in a small sailboat.

    I remember that boat.

    Into light wind, close hauled, calm water

    I sailed an O’Day DS long ago on Lake Michigan. In Small Craft warning we could beat Lightning’s but never in lesser weather

    Last sailed 25 years ago solo...

    Yeah, one-design racing is really fun.
    You gotta wonder about the logo design for that brand on the sail. What where they thinking.

    Actually my father took this of my older brother who'd now 78. I'm guessing he was about 5 or 6 here so mid 40's. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the car.

    I ran across these negs a while back and made a few scans. I'm thinking I shot these around 1973 or 74. She was a steam operated tug.
